Robotics Questionnaire

This questionnaire, targeted at roboticists and sensor developers, aims at fleshing out the requirements of and priorities for the CommonReality system from this side. The primary concern is determining at what level of granularity command and control information to the sensing side should be represented.

1. What are the primary communications mechanisms between robot/device and control system?

2. Many systems accept commands at varying levels of abstraction. There is the low level, such as specifying a single actuator’s motion, and then there is the higher level, such as requesting the robot to move its arm “over there”.
